Art

The jewels, ball and paddle every look starts from, and all of Royal Lattice, are drawn in code as the game runs. So are Toybox’s toys, mascots and toy box; most of its screens’ pictures and its effects are painted. The pictures of Moonlight Gala and Sakura Shōnen, their characters included, were made for Placeholder Name Here, to a brief that asks for original work: no existing characters, brands, logos or real people.

Sound

Every sound is made in your browser as you play, with no recordings: paddle hits, breaking gems, attacks and knock-outs.
